All current K–5 Hiland Park Elementary students

✔️ Permission form required to audition
✔️ Performances must be 3 minutes or less
✔️ Parents/Caretakers must be in the car loop by 3:30 PM with a valid car tag for pickup

Leadership Day was a success! Students participated in engaging activities that promoted teamwork, confidence, and positive leadership skills they can use in school and beyond. Way to go Razorbacks!

Science In Action~
Mrs. Gay's K/1 science class had a blast today! They discovered how the sun warms the Earth and learned the difference between direct sunlight and shade. How? By watching their toys magically melt out of ice under the sun's rays!

Congratulations to our Habit 4 Students of the Month! Thank you for being fair, kind, and a great teammate. Keep making choices that help everyone win! 💙

On Monday, January 26, 2026, FIN provided a brief overview of our supports and services, along with technical assistance on ways to implement specific instructional strategies for students with disabilities in the least restrictive environment. Participants received information related to ESSA data for the students with disabilities subcategory and learned about the six collaborative teaching approaches designed to maximize instruction for students with and without disabilities. Attendees worked in groups to apply and plan the implementation of these strategies using provided scenarios.

Our proud princi-pal was able to visit the capitol this week to witness education committees and meet with legislators. Meeting Senator Trumbull was an honor and sharing with him our celebrations and struggles was humbling. Leadership is advocacy and Mrs Faircloth was excited to do that this week!
